    Alexander would have beaten brooke easily...

    Brook really needs to step up the opposition before mixing with the big boys...

    If the other fighter contractually can't come in at 147, for me at least it isn't a legitimate Welterweight fight.

    It wasn't a title fight...This sort of thing happens on every card around the world day in, day out, nobody is making anyone do something that they don't want to do.

    Not "making" them no but Diaz said himself he'd rather have had it at 147 but couldn't pass up the opportunity.

    Thats still his choice though....I agree with you BTW, I don't like imposed weight restrictions in fights but it happens all the time and at all levels.

    Never said anything of the sort. They can fight at any weight they wish. But it's not a true Welterweight fight mate and it never will be. The Welterweight limit is 147, IMO if you are contractually obliged to come in under that it isn't a proper Welterweight fight.
