thats because he was a light heavyweight. SRR had 1 fight at 175 ..... and that was his 135th fight he started his career at 135.......... :deal
Micheal Jordan: Is this the guy who was afraid for his health vs a little Asian midget atsch. He's not even the greatest in one decade, how can he be the greatest ever atsch.
:think Who can he beat to be up there with SRR(lol no way) or Leonard(who has Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Benitez...), Ali(Foreman, Frazier, Liston...) who the **** can he beat to be even close to these guys, and this is just to name a few. And I'm Flozd fan but lets be realistic:good
Well lets not forget,he has aready had a notable career. Its not like hes starting from scratch. Also, I dont hold resume up as the be all and end all of judging a fighter. Theoretically if Ali had come along in the Liston era, which was relatively weak, would that mean he'd be ranked lower on the ARG list, even though he'd have been just as skilled etc?
Floyd you are not even close. Based on skills top 50. Based on resume you probably make the top 75 but too much inactivity at prime parts of your career will always harm your ranking. You fought too many fighters outside of their weight or prime.
Listen I'm not going to talk "if" stuff just think of it like that if Ali did not fight Frazier, Foreman or Liston for what ever reason that would hurt his legacy just as not fighting Pac has to hurt Floyds, not going into who is to blame and i think both sides slightly more Pacs. Floyd can not even be in top 10 let alone best ever!!!
What would ever make you think I was being remotely serious? Look at the replies. No, the real talk is here: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=473586&page=7
