Rahman took it up when he was 20

Wilfredo Vazquez Jr started boxing when he was 21, would have thought he'd have took it up much earlier given who his old man was!

Bit of a tough one with Hopkins, he turned pro aged what 23/24 ? Yet he'd been in jail for 5 years previously where he took up the sport.. so really he was boxing aged 18/19.

Similar with Foreman, he began boxing when he was 17, not sure you can really call that "late" though.

What fighters actually began any form of boxing late, not just turned pro late?

I know Sergio was already in his twenties when he first began training boxing.

    Any others?

Shadowboxing atwork is how he started.Did it to fightboredom and was told he was good at it.

Aside from the boxers already listed Tony Thompson and Chisora. The higher your weight the easier it probably is but it's possible
