Any News on Jason Litzau?

Breaking news: His chin is still glass.

 

Not a peep. I know he was battling some demons and claimed to be on the straight and narrow before the Broner bout. He's suffered some pretty sever concussions, though, so I'm not sure I'd want to see him in the ring any more.

 

Boxing needs more dudes like Litzau..

I f'n loved the guy. He was winning right up till that vicious KO by Broner in the 1st round.

and he was an ESPN darling on FNF..

free knockouts on cable? what else can you ask for..

 

Litzau was a good fighter, look up his fights on boxing rec, had taken on some good level competition, big deal he got taken out by Broner. He gave a hell of a fight against what is supposed to be a pound for pound fighter in Robert Guerrero, was out boxing Guerrero a lot during the fight until he got caught I think in the ninth, he beat a lot of good fighters without being knocked out, the glass chin thing is a little silly.

 

litzau was never a world champ..but he did beat caballero convincingly

 

I was a Facebook friend then he unfriended me, from what I can tell he will continue to do his thing in St Paul, and be local hero.

 

He had a comeback fight about a year after the Broner fight agaisnt a journeyman but that was almost a year ago.

Haven't heard anything since.

 

Always fun to watch, win or lose. He stopped some journeyman almost a year ago and then no news since then...

Okay just checked into this he is hurt, hand injury waiting on recovery but because of severity possible September bout had to be called off, may be back on but not sure.
