I know this debate has been done to death. Whatever your opinion on Froch-Kessler it is PPV so have to deal with it. My issue is the undercard and value for money. It's 3 weeks away and we have Bellew-Chillemba and Groves. Haye although in a main event not quite the same is on normal sky sports, with Crolla-Rees on the undercard and Barker and Selby being lined up for it even though its over 8 weeks away. Why does that fight get a better undercard it makes no sense at all

its bollox, defo not worth it imo

rematches never live up to the original, and the original was exciting but in terms of the sweet science it was lacking

i aint paying for 2 warriors to stand and sling a few haymakers at each other

Last fight I saw that I thought was PPV worthy was Lewis v Klitchsko.

He's dropped a bollock with this undercard especially announcing the Haye one and it shaping up to be better.

I might be in the minority here but I'm not fussed about Groves, would rather see Crolla/Rees.

I agree with you mate, not interested in Groves purely having another keep busy fight. Would rather watch two domestic or Euro level fighters have a competitive fight than a world level fighter have a ****-easy one.

  7. originally I was 100% getting the froch ppv on the basis of the main event and a good undercard.
Groves was supposed to be chief support - I was thinking a big fight for him

but I am not gonna pay £17/18 for groves v sum bum , bellew ****ing snooze fest and the froch fight
Unless eddie has some good last min additions I will either pub it or other means it

Rees-Crolla is better than Groves v some bum. Barker or Frampton and Selby is better than Bellew-Chillemba. Shocking a free card is better than a PPV one. On one hand deserves credit for great free card but slating for a rubbish effort with the Froch card.

Its tough to tag a US card along with a PPV for a number of reasons. The US promoter will probably want a cut of the PPV or a higher rights fee. And the UK promoter will want US TV for big fights. If theres a major US card that weekend they will be less likley to buy the UK card.

  10. Sorry but wtf does any of that have to do with the thread ?

It will probably get more viewers as PPV than it would had it been on Sky Sports. The fact that it's PPV actually makes people want to watch it more and fork out than if it was actually on normal Sky Sports. Previous figures demonstrate that
