Guerrero might not win as he has almost all the odds against him. There were better fights for Floyd but oh well... But it seems that Ruben Guerrero and the Guerrero camp got not only the Mayweather Camp skin, but Mayweather's fans too... All Ruben Guerrero did was the same thing Mayweather and his entourage have been doing for years. Karma Floyd. I wonder if Floyd will dedicate this fight to all the battered women of the world again. Do the young Mayweather fans even know about the Corrales fight dedication? Good stuff. Good promoting.
Amen.. Floyd used to always act like a fool! Remember that 24/7 where he was talking tons of **** to the mild mannered Shane Mosley... Saying "Cotto ****ed you up, Forrest ****ed you up, Winky ****ed you up and im gonna **** you up some more" Does that ring a bell? Now Floyd is trying to take the high road and act like a goodie goodie! Void is a walking, talking contradiction! :thumbsup
Mayweather doesn't look phased at all. Well, not from I've seen. I can't claim to know what he's thinking though, but I doubt any of the 'woman beating' talk even registers. Guerrero, on the other hand, seems to be overcompensating by repeating how 'ready' he is. Like he's trying desperately to convince himself of it. I think it's smart how Floyd's team is the one reacting to the trash talking, instead of Floyd himself. Same for Guerrero in a lesser sense. Both seem to have left this to others. Reminds me of how Garcia's dad takes it upon himself to do the **** talking and his son concentrates his energy elsewhere.
he said the Mayweather's partake in that behavior in not so many words and that Robert was going to beat the "Wife Beater" in the dedication to battered women every where. Floyd said this same thing when he fought Corales
Mayweather fights better when there is **** talking and that sort of thing going on. When he dedicated the fight to battered women vs castillo he destroyed him The ortiz fight, De La hoya, Hatton, mosley all had trash talk and floyd was at his best in those. Versus Cotto they were both very respectful and whatnot and Floyd did not bring his A game he even said so himself. Maybe theres a connection maybe not..
Floyd's entourage and fans are upset. Floyd's a pro. He's the one fighting and he's ultimately confident in his skills - as he should be. I'll give him credit - he can dish it AND take it.
Against De la Hoya? Hell no! De la Hoya should've gotten the draw or even win, and he was semi-retired.
