Beats Martin Murray in a close fight; fans clearly slight edge to Murray; his fans "honor judges decision 100%."

His fans are annoying. I like Sergio a lot, but just like with Hopkins and Matthysse, I just no longer like them because of their fans, primarily on this site.

 

I was supporting Matthysse before the majority of this forum back when he was making Demarcus Corley pee blood, but I feel you about his fans. It's mostly this one specific idiot who's username I can't type from memory though

 

I used to like him when he fought the close battle with Judah and then scored 10,000 KD's against Corley. I just can't anymore.

Sort of like how I was a big Trout fan before he even had beaten David Lopez and no one knew who he was. But after all the dumb **** I heard his supporters say in the build up to Canelo and then after that fight, I just can't really root for him as much as I used to anymore because I hate his supporters (who aren't even really his supporters; just ethnic pride and a dislike for his opponent).

 

The thing about Matthysse was the Judah fight was close but the Alexander fight wasnt
But people bring up both like they were similar, i know how you feel fans have put me off fighters but the Matthysse argument is legit

 

It's not a matter of the score of those fights.

Just the things they say that irk me.

Stupid reason to not like a fighter to be honest.

It's not like we're talking about the worst of what fans do. Pac vs SRR or Klitschko beats any HW ever, etc.

 

At least I don't hate fighters based on ethnicity, what they do outside of the ring, or because of promotional ties or any of the various other reasons the majority of people choose to dislike a fighter or not.

I don't know how you can be completely unaffected by the tone of certain fighters' fans when you go to ESB as much as a lot of us do.
