Great and elite are two different things though. Plus, he had only one defeat at 130, I think. And that was to Floyd.

Yeah fair enough, it depends on definition of elite, he doesn't quite make it for me but can definitely see an argument for it. But not Judah from that previous list

Tbh it's not an IYO thing, concerning Corrales especially, he was undefeated and bombing out his competition, and was above Floyd in the p4p list, in addition to being the favourite in the fight.

Corrales is not in doubt - definitely a no-brainer

No, not Judah. You are right, he is not elite.

Maybe would of had a case for it if he hadn't lost his tuneup to Baldomir (a silly fight to take in the first place because the Mayweather fight was already signed)

Gatti, Zudah and Baldomir, before De La Hoya. Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo also. Then Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto, enough?

    How do you define "elite"??

Hernandez was a top ranked title holder.

Even Pep was a pretty solid fighter, although probably not elite.

add hatton to the list, he may look poor in his last fight but thats due to floyd destroying his career as a boxer

he was top 10 p4p and no.1 at light welter when floyd ended him

Judah was an elite WW...one fight removed from being the undisputed champ. Definitely elite.

And Im incredibly ashamed I missed Marquez off my list.
