Happening on th klitschko card. Good fight for perez but is it a step too far for him considering he's been inactive for well over a year!? Can see.this being a car crash for Perez unless he's fit and very motivated. Your thought on this one please chaps Cheers
Walker isn't all that to be honest as he'd showed little of note in Prizefighter. Perez should beat him fairly easily.
It's a fight he should win regardless of the lay-off. It'll be interesting to see what weight he comes in at for the fight - he's always been around 230ish and for a guy who's only 6 foot that's going some. If he's anything north of that we'll know there's been some slacking in his year off.
Unless im wrong, this will be Perez's first fight with coach Jameel Mccline, be interesting to see how he gets on with Mike.
Walker is a good journeyman with strong power and also some boxing skills. Yet his stamina, chin and speed are not very good. i think it will be a hard fight for Perez but at the end he will win this by stoppage.
Think Mike takes the first 3 or 4 rounds easy because hes been inactive then stops Walker, its nice that he's on a Klitschko undercard this guy needs exposure after being so inactive
Dont think Mike's heart is in it to be honest. Not in great shape while he's been out of the ring so I doubt we'll see the same fighter that dominated prizefighter a couple of years ago. Shame too because he's a real talent. I wouldnt be overly surprised to see this fight not happen.
Perez somes up the phrase high risk/low reward. Needs a big promoter behind him if he is gonna do anything in the sport. Reminds me a bit of ajoses situation.
I was amazed at how bad Walker looked on prizefighter.Had seen him a few times before and he looked a bit of a beast, looked decent against Banks until caught. Then,in prizefighter, not the same man.Perez would have to have succumbed badly to the easy life in Ireland to lose this one.
