*** Bute vs Pascal News & Build Up Thread ***

My first contact with Romanian was Dorin and from this i never been disapointed with any Romanian i met. I have the chance to spoke with Diaconu on the phone and he was a real gentleman too. I know that Quebecers like peoples that can be polite and respectful and i'm pretty sure that's why Romanians will always have success as athlete here.

On the other side You have Pascal who has been a Quebecers since he can remember but with a different mentality , don't get me wrong , Pascal his a real gentleman when you talk with him and will never disrespect any of his fans , in fact he is more approchable then Bute and more down to earth when it's time to speak with him , it's like talking with an old friend.

For my part , both are necessary for the boxing scene in Quebec , i don't know for who i will root but i'm damn sure that i will be proud of both!

 

B-hop must dream to face Bute or Pascal (again) ,. He can make a lot of money here knowing he will get a fair decision from the judge

I have my moments with Beastside, but I have to agree that the guy's English is superb.
I've just started trying to learn a new( old) language for my daughter's schooling,and I'm finding it very difficult,so even before now,I've always respected people who can post even remotely competently in a second or third dialect.
And I almost always find it annoying when people pull others up just because their English is not 100% accurate.
I couldn't even post poorly in another language,so I try to respect those who attempt to do it.
I always try to keep it to the subject matter,which is where the problems start.atsch

Seriously i can't say! Bute have the technic and the skills while Pascal have the heart and the will. If it was just me , this fight would never took place , but for the health fo Canadian boxing it have to take place!

I'm really torn on this one mate(although very happy to hear it's on Sky after the Froch fight!)
I went from thinking Bute,to people like DeceBal making me think Pascal can do it....:think
But if Bute is a well priced underdog,I will definitely have a bet on him.
For me,it comes down to whether these extra lbs help Bute's punch resistance.
If they do,he wins a decision.
If not, Pascal gets a second wind and comes from behind to stop him in the 10th or 11th.:good

Bute was not prepared mentally. But physically, he was not at his best either, after a nearly 5 months training camp and a foot infection. Froch was ready and his fighting spirit was way too much for Bute.

I still have doubts about Bute being able to be as confident as before in the ring. Pascal is a very solid test for that.

 

No one could've blamed Bute for taking one more confidence builder.
This is a big step and I think his team must think his head's in the right place to have taken it.
