Sky bigging up Mcdonnell on ringside.... Twats!

Ive seen a number of McConnell fights on sky and I'm sure the team involved including adam smith would have liked to have had his big night on sky

Still if they keep up good relations there are possibilities of future fights being shown aren't there

Im sure hearn would of tried nabbing Jamie,he is another like brian Rose in that he is a good ticket seller who has cleaned up at domestic level only difference is Jamie has also cleaned out european

They arent showing the fight, would people prefer if they just ignored it happening?

I think its great they publicise and give time to fighters who aint been shown on the channel.

Nelson should have asked Murray what he's been up to recently & when he answered shouted: "OH YOU'VE HAD A ****ING FIGHT HAVE YOU, I HAD NO IDEA YOU TWAT!"

Then repeated a not to dissimilar line with McDonnell.

Congratulating them, wishing them luck, generally being supportive?

Makes me want to ****ing vomit & **** at the same time.

I think BoxNation itself is alright. It's never going to bring in huge amounts of money but I think it can be profitable, just by providing a small number of fans with boxing that they can't get elsewhere. It can be a success, just like any channel for one sport can work, as long as they don't try to do too much with it. International shows are extremely cheap to purchase the rights to and given the minimal costs of production, BoxNation can run at a profit quite easily.

It's not a big enough platform for a UK promoter though, I'm convinced of that.

 

I don't think it will make enough of a profit to aid Frank's lavish lifestyle.

 

BoxNation should go free-to-air. This would put Frank in a very powerful position.

BoxNation going free-to-air would be a major boost for boxing.

Frank says there is close to 200,000 subscribers. You think he can get £2million in ad revenue per month?

I don't see why not. Some of the bigger shows will pull in 1 million viewers. And as the channel finds a new audience then it could average 500,000 viewers a day. The days advert money would pay for the days programming.

Every penny of ad revenge goes back into boxing. It's then up to BoxNation to spend it wisely.

Anyway I doubt BoxNation does have 200,000 subscribers. Although it may peak at that number for major events.

I personally think BoxNation would get more revenue from advertising than subscriptions. There is also the incentive of more exposure for the fighters.
