I would much prefer isolation than being in the general population. I'd probably rather fight to get myself into confinement than mingle with the general population.

With PC, I'm sure Floyd had access to whatever books he wanted and I believe people were allowed to bring food in for him. I would just be reading tons of books, maybe even writing. It wouldn't be fun, but I don't think it would be that terrible. Mingling with the other degenerates would be far worse.

 

Reads like fantasy island on this thread. Floyd was a high value inmate in there on a bull**** misdemeanor. There was no way they were going to put him in general population, for a whole host of reasons. For one, Floyd ain't soft by a long shot and the minute he walked into gen pop, there would have been mother****ers lining up to be soldiers. Floyd is a born leader and a shot caller. Don't get the **** twisted, he been calling his own shots for the last ten years. He would've been running that ***** if he wanted to. Not only do they isolate rats, they also isolate cold killers and shot callers. Ruben was just an average po broke ass buster who did some petty **** and they just put his broke ass in jail. Tyson went to the penitentiary which is a totally different way of doing time. He had six years and he knew he wasn't getting out for a while so he just made the beat of a bad situation.
