that's the grasping at straws approach, we can both keep throwing out random bits that don't really Add up, . Like Diaz was beate green, and lost to the only half decent fighter gee faced in Campbell... But at the end of the day Pacs opponents will be remembered as better. And none of the fighters at the time gave any indication of not being well prepared and in proper shape to fight. All that he say she say is just that, excuses that their fans have come up with..

All you're doing is nitpicking, which can be done to virtually any opponent. You're not making ground and you're proving to be irrational.

Katsidis was never famous or popular for his skill level. It was his face first style that led to excitement. Katsidis as fun as he is, not on that level chief.

Now quit bitching like a baby...

Because the division was weak as **** after the beatings, Castillo, Corrales, and Casa gave each other.. know your history son, divisions have high and low spots. Many times vafter you have a packed division and all the good guys fight, they are all damaged and are done.. This was the case during Diaz run..

Now you are jumping to opinion or perception of the name value and not accessing how the fighter looked in his last fight.

When you go down that route you really lose alot of credibility.

You damn well know casual boxing fans dont know **** about boxing as Roger puts it.

Cotto beat a bum in Jennings and looked like **** against Clottey who arguably beat him also Cotto changed trainer to a inept one.

Dont act like that **** aint no red flag or nothing.

Yet Casa beat a solid Katsidis after those which proved that he had something left.

Yes to a point, but those guys were still considered very good fighters at the point Pac met them. Only Diaz was considered a top fighter, and like I said, Campbell made easy work of him. and if you followed boxing then you would know how Campbell was viewed at the time. Mosley being the exception. that fight was a ****ing shame..

Talking about weak division yet Manny didnt wanna fight Mosley after he destroyed Margarito, somehow Cotto had more value ROFL. Pacquiao fought Mosley after getting schooled by Mayweather and having a draw with freaking Mora.

"but..but..but..but... Cotto beat Mosley so Cotto is a better win"

ROFL so fighters should just try to not become the champion(because Mosley was the true welterweight champion at the time) and beat a guy that is not a champion but happened to beat the current champion in the past???

    LOL

Clottey had been world class for years, so when he caused a huge head butt early on. It was no surprise to me the fight was so close. Lets not forget Clotteys resume before Cotto.

a fighter can look great if matched well, isn't that your point with Pac? Well Diaz was a prime example..

So what if Katsidis didnt look "pretty" and "polished" out there, he proved to be a solid contender.

    GTFO here with that BS

You ever see Henry Armstrong fight??? Dude looked nasty but got it done. Now obviously Katsidis isnt as good as Armstrong but with his style he was able to work his way up to being a solid contender.
