Guerrero - Pacquiao sparring

I was a huge Pac fan at one point.

Its his fans which made him go stale for me. Which is somewhat unfortunate as he comes off as a decent guy with a great style to watch.

 

there's a gym name i haven't heard in a long time. did they even have any pros there?

i was there for the pac/morales 1 camp and it was ridiculous. that was the beginning of all of his filipino fans coming in to take pics...and he would barely get through a round without someone trying to take a pic or getting in the way. i also noticed all the "eyes" of ppl watching every single move pac made. i thought it was a smart move to lock it all down.

in freddies and pacs defense...sometimes that sparring was goal oriented...meaning they would work on certain things...and in doing so...sometimes a lessor fighter is going to shine.

 

Fans ****ed it up for me a little to be honest, what really ****ed it up for me is Roach.

I will explain, on 24/7 its all Bull****, he lies through his ****ing teeth about everything, over exaggerates sparring, training etc..... and then when Khan came to the gym well, lets just say this we started hearing stories that just were not true about their sparring sessions.

His ego got the better of him which is why ****** and Macka cut ties with him and its exactly why he now has a bunch of snakes in that gym all of them trying to get a piece....

Karma is a ***** and will always have her way in the end and she did..... I think Manny is still taking a nap.

 

pac and khan were the cash cows for freddie .

no. not really. guerrero is a long/taller boxer who can offset a lot of what pac did/does. a prime pac vs guerrero at 135-147 would be a lot closer than ppl realize.

 

Guerrero was trained by one of the trainers there back in the day he and Jermey williams always came to the gym and got work I dont know of any others to be honest.

But you are correct, it was almost over night after he beat MAB, I went to the gym and there was no place to put your gym bag, they were everywhere.

a bunch of ****ing leeches too believe that, so many of them brought manny all kinds of **** just to try and get in with him...

its pathetic because weeks leading up to the MAB fight none of them gave a **** or even knew about Pac

 

fortune and macka left long before khan ever came to wildcard.

i predicted there would be trouble in paradise when freddie left pac to go work with delahoya for the mayweather fight.

 

Its mad. But it just shows what happens in the gym stays in the gym. And what we get fed through the media is mostly crap designed to get a reaction.

 

Roach had at that time Vazquez, Viloria, Ikeke, Pacquiao, Toney, Afolabi and a few others But focused most of his time and energy on Pacquiao.

I never understood it to be honest, Afolabi is a bad mother ****er look where he is now, But had you told Roach back then this kid has the goods Roach would have ignored what you said I never really understood why.

Vazquez was a a ****ing beast and Roach never really got involved with him until the Marquez bouts most of that was ****** working with Israel.... Sad isnt it...

 

guerrero was working with john bray out of the northridge athletic club.

i remember when i was telling people in the gym that pac was going to beat barerra and they told me i was crazy! after that...guys were asking me my opinion on every fight so they could make bets. i should have got a cut!

 

I believe you mis understood what I said, I said they left cus Roachs ego got out of hand not because of Khan.

But your right and do you know what happened why they split?

Pacquiao has a fight with Solis set

Delahoya calls Roach for the Mayweather fight and request him to train him in Puerto Rico, the entire time Jus Tin is working with Pac getting him ready for the fight while Roach is making a huge payday with Oscar.

Then all the sudden Roach decides to ask or Demand that Jus Tin split that Purse from the Solis fight, Jus Tin said your ****ing crazy I worked as full time head trainer, if you want half of this, you give me half of your Oscar money.

Roach didnt want to agree to that and still insisted Jus Tin pay him, Jus Tin got his check packed up his gear and left the gym.... and he was well with in his right to he earned that check why should Roach get half when he didnt contribute?

toney tore his achilles and it was all down hill for him.

ola definitely was/is the goods. he was one of my favorites to watch spar. all that talent with no amateur career. straight to the pros.

i remember watching him ignore guys like ikeke, viloria and vasquez. roman karmazin was there too. but he was trained by the russian dude.

it was pretty much the same thing for guillermo rigondeaux when he was at the wildcard. same for vanes.

that should have all been squared away before freddie left. in a way...i'm kinda split with that situation. on one hand... pac was freddies fighter. on the other...sure ****** took him through that camp...but freddie should have broke bread with him. arum gave the check directly to fortune in his name.

it's funny how freddie **** on floyd sr for asking oscar for 2 mil to train him to beat lil' floyd. he said floyd sr wasn't worth it. i thought that was a fair price to pay for floyd sr to give oscar the formula to beat lil' floyd. i didn't think dlh had a chance with roach because he's too offensive minded. the fight proved me right and karma came back to bite roach in the ass when fortune took the money and ran.
