Lewis was listed 6'4.75" earlier in his career...it's a negligible difference but Lewis was one of those guys who people said looked taller than his listing later in his career....

If Lewis is between 6'4" and 6'5" then I don't think it's out of the question that Wlad is between 6'5" and 6'6" as he claims himself.

I go based mostly on when I've met them, and none of them were wearing shoes with lifts or any of that.

Hagler, Hearns, and Leonard are all listed spot on, in my opinion. All 3 of them stood directly in front of me and I got the chance to shake both Marvin Hagler and Tommy Hearns's hands, Leonard stood not even 3 feet away from me. All of their heights seemed very accurate.

I respect that but it's not definitive. I do my best to estimate people's heights in person but it's not necessarily that easy.

I also reckon it's a common phenomenon that people perceive 5'10" as 6', 5'8" as 5'10" etc, because EVERYONE lies about their height, it's just human nature.

I believe the heights. I think what happens is that people meet the boxer when they are at a dinner or years later and they are either slouching or older. They do get shorter when they get older, and when they slouch that makes them shorter also.. When a guy is measured he usually stands straight up.

I go by what I was last measured at, which is 5'8. Every time I've seen Marvin in person, he's been about an inch taller than me.

Marvin is most definitely about 5'9.

Laughable that someone previously said De La Hoya was 5, 9" or a bit less.

If De La Hoya is 5, 9" or a bit less than Hagler must be 5, 6" or 5, 7".

Soon we'll have Hagler down to 5, 3" lol.

At this rate Pacquiao will be a legal midget, Lennox Lewis is only 6' flat, and Humberto Gonzalez regularly has to pole vault to get up onto a sidewalk.

I haven't even stripped as much as 2 inches off any boxer's listed height, but exaggerate away.

If you want to believe that all listed heights are legit in a sport that is so much about promotion, hype and intimidation, well-that's pretty naive.

I would've thought it was pretty clear that there were often discrepancies between listed heights and what you see in the ring. Ask yourself, what's more likely- someone overstating or understating their height?

Also, when you look at the supposed heights and weights of boxers compared to other athletes and just humans generally, you'd think half of them were anorexic. It makes sense that some are a little shorter than claimed.

How tall does Hagler look next to 5'10" Tyson?

Do you think ODLH is taller than Tyson????
