We have lists for power, chin, and speed, but I can't recall any top 10 lists for stamina. Here's a list I've thrown together. Interested in any comments:

    1.) Henry Armstrong
    2.) Rocky Marciano
    3.) Marvin Hagler
    4.) Vincente Saldivar
    5.) Jeff Fenech
    6.) Eder Jofre
    7.) Joe Frazier
8.) Zach Padilla (dark horse candidate)
    9.) Salvador Sanchez
    10.) Izzy Vasquez

Honorable Mentions: Emile Griffith, Juan Manuel Marquez, Congressman Manny, Ricardo Lopez, and Carlos Monzon.

****, meant to include Wolgast and Nelson. They're at the top for sure. Like I said, I threw this together very quickly.

It's hard to tell how tired a fighter is without being able to see them fighting.

Sanchez should be higher, seriously I've never seen anybody throw hard flurries like him without even opening their mouth for a little bit of extra air.

I'd add Danny Lopez for a slugger his stamina was inhuman.

Not really. Not when you go by what every eyewitness; every writer, trainer, promoter and opponent that Greb ever had unanimously had to say about him. Which was that the guy had inhuman stamina, never stopped moving, never stopped throwing punches and never got tired. In fact, he seemed to get stronger as a bout went on.

George Siddons, Andy Bowen, Danny Needham, Tommy White proved to have stamina by taking part in in fights that lasted very-very long, several times each.

Oh, what a aficionado you are. Thank you for enlightening us on the fact there's no surviving film of Greb fighting.

Seriously, I'm so ****ing tired of hipsters saying this sort of ****.

There's always at least one person to say: "it's impossible to rate men you've never actually seen!" It's just an excuse for their unwillingness to put in the research.

Prime Holyfield should be there, maybe Whitaker, Calzaghe, Jones Jr, Ali and both Klitschko brothers

It's more demanding stamina wise to bounce on your toes and punch round and round while punching than it is to be flat footed and punching.

It also takes more stamina to fight at range than throw shorter hooks on the inside.
