the difference is that joe louis weighed 200 pounds in 6´2 of height and tua was a 5´9 225 pounder compact monster and he did hit much harder than louis shot for shot(yes much harder) louis was a better combination puncher but tua just would destroy galento with single shots, and not, galento would not beat tua in a bar or any place , he would get destroyed in the bar, the beach or the mountain
:think Hm in the ring i think Tua beats him but in a bar... I think Tony would take it out. Tua's too nice of a guy and Tony would already be kneeing him in the groin and finding something to hit him with
Let's just all agree that both Tua and Galento would beat the bejabbers out of Jackie Gleason in a bar or in the ring, alright?
In a bar I see it like this Galento drives a big left uppercut into Tua's nuts, right thumb into his eye socket and bottle over his head. Bam, Galento wins.
Tua,hard hitter but his power is over rated and will not bother Galento because it won't be thrown in combinations.
Tua would stop him in a round or two .. a terrible match up for Galento ... Tua was much stronger, faster, better conditioned and hit harder ...
I said Tua was a hard hitter but he's hardly on the level of Foreman,Holyfield,Louis etc.. Who did he hit flush? Moorer and Ruiz... Galento crouches when his opponent comes in and hides his chin unlike the above two, really frustrating Tua.
Tony could punch and so could Tua, close fight may go the full route, both had solid chins I WOULD NOT BE OVERLY SURPRISED IF Tony PULLED OFF AN UPSET SD Tony G.
Tua by TKO. I know what people are going to say...Galento beat better fighters and all....but when I watch one and then the other, I can´t imagine Galento winning this.....
