crazy enough due to his speed boxing ability and willingness to clinch to offset his opponents rhythm I would pick Alexander to win more rounds than a lot of his recent opponents but I don't think he has the key thing Mental Toughness if Alexander had Bradley's heart I'd def give him a close to 50/50 shot

Lol. I think their are many styles and fighters that would trouble Floyd. The thing is, trouble doesn't mean he loses. Cotto troubled Floyd. Judah troubled Floyd. I think he would beat Margarito, but I also think it would have been one of his toughest fights physically and in no way would it have been easy. It's all about styles and Mayweather couldn't do what Mosley or Pac did and it would be a great style clash and would have love to see how Mayweather pulled out the victory.

Margarito didn't have the footwork to trouble Floyd. Floyd would box circles around that fool. Judah and Cotto actually had a bit of hand speed and mixed up their attack. Margarito is slow and is one-dimensional.

Hearns would have beaten him like no other, Hearns would have beaten Floyd in a way that even the great SRR wouldn't.

What idiots like you fail to realize is that pressure mean nothing if it's not educated or the guy in there isn't there to be hit and both would be true in PBF-Margo.

First Margo isn't an educated pressure fighter. He doesn't use head movement nor does he work behind a jab. He follows people around depending upon a great chin and size eating shots and throwing slow wide and looping shots. That isn't the type of pressure that bothers PBF.

Second pressure mean nothing if the guy you're in there with drops your workrate frustrates you and you don't land. And that's exactly what would happen against PBF. You act as if Margo is some legendary educated pressure fighter with dynamic punching ability and ATG footwork. I got news for you he's not. He's one dimensional slow plodding and predictable. He wouldn't land on the best defensive fighter of this era regularly enough to win rounds his workrate would suffer get frustrated and he's a slow starter to boot. Being a walking target doesn't help him out either as he would get hit pretty much every time PBF let his hands go. It would be a sharpshooting and counter-punching clinic.:deal. PBF doesn't fade so Margo's his great stamina would be a non issue here. Anyone who thinks Margo beats PBF is delusional, doesn't know **** about boxing and doesn't understand styles two completely different level of fighters it would be easy work.

I had always been interested in a Margarito and Mayweather fight. The size and styles always made me really want to see it happen. Seeing Mayweather deal with that non stop aggression by a bigger man who fights every second of every round would have been interesting. Would Mayweather have won? Most definitely. Would it have been easy for him? No, even if he won every round he would have had to use all of his skills and abilities which means it would have been a physically tough fight for him. Do I see other fighters giving him problems with speed and skills? Yes. But physicality wise, a Margarito fight would have been interesting.

I look at it like Forrest vs Mayorga. Forrest should have easily been able to defeat Mayorga. Styles sometimes clash and make for interesting fights. This is how I view the Mayweather vs Margarito fight if it had happened.

A prime JMM the same size would still have trouble trying to outbox a superior boxer. PBF is just a bad match up for JMM period.

Forrest isn't half the boxer PBF is. His ring IQ isn't as good nor was his defense. Do you actually think PBF would be dumb enough to get lured into a brawl with a crude slugger like Mayorga?:patsch No he would use his head and stick to his gameplan and box. That's what separates PBF form guys like Forrest great IQ while in the ring.

So you think Margarito would have been easy for Floyd? Not a physically challenging fight at all? I guess you think Cotto was easy for Mayweather also? Jesus christ, if you can't see Margarito causing at least some physical problems for Floyd then you don't know ****.
