They're only human. Bad day, bad plan, their opponent having a great day. There are so many excellent fighters that could beat anybody. Champions going undefeated is a rather modern phenomena; I would wager more undefeated titlist have occurred side the introduction of the four belt system than the previous 100 years combined. No one is unbeatable.

No, sorry, he wasn't primed, he was just a favourite.

The Walcott fight isn't one i've looked at, but Walcott was sure as **** on a horrible streak at that time. 1-4-4 run, and two of those draws should have been losses.

I think I already went through the actuality of his record and it's pretty horrible. Still, i had better not reject him purely out of disdain for it as it relates to the top 100, when he might belong in the 150.

Oh I rate him no doubt as well. I think he makes the next 50 bracket with little resistance. Larkin does for me as well though.

When I originally made my Larkin (great name) shout I had actually posted "Larkin or Jenkins?" But I figured I'd make it easier on evryone and just concentrate on Larkin.

Then you lured me in :!:

Gonna be tough. I'd be more able to tell you who doesn't deserve to be in holding just yet moreso than who deserves the next 2 spots in T. V...

Is this Patterson territory? Boxed Ears (among others) is all hardline about him being greater than guys like Trinidad and Tszyu.

Maxim's an interesting case as well.

Well, nah, I know who i'd pick if i didn't hear a word so it's not tough for me...but i'm interested in hearing persuasive arguments, definitely.

I probably won't be doing detailed breakdowns for these which means I won't be correcting mistakes and over/under-rating, so i'm going to take my time a bit.

You guys are getting really ****ing good at these tiers. But I like Tyson, Fenech, and Marcel in a Tier above Pedroza, Pryor, Cervantes.

Fenech was essentially a 4 division champ when it meant a little more than it does now. I admire longevity in a division but I think 4 divisions trumps it (Fenech dominated Nelson I).
Pryor has Arguello twice, but the first fight was so devastating I don't put much credence in the 2nd, and lets face it, the first was shady. Marcel was slightly better than Pedroza. Tyson was fast, strong, had devastation in both hands, and pretty good defense. Can you make that same statement for Pryor? Pedroza? Cervantes?
