    Those assholes took out wrestling so its dead to me.

    Of course they are pros. And not only basketball. I doubt someone thinks Usain Bolt is an amateur.

    olympics should allow any athlete, pro or ams, who qualifies and wants to compete in their games.

    They already did remove headgear in amateur male competition. The scoring is professional style now as well. I am unsure about the age range though. Its news to me.
