I don't think its Hearn that dictates the Price. In fairness PPV has be £15 for 15 years.

Not saying he dictates the price at all. He knows what the price is though and hasn't let fans know yet. I though better of him than that. Just trying to line his pockets with this fight like the rest of them

Without PPV the fight wouldn't be happening, not in this country at least.

I'm happy to pay £18 for it.

Hearn doesn't set the pricing does he?. The Yanks pay a lot more on a regular basis for boxing and lot of the PPV's are light as well. We're blessed compared to them when it comes to watching boxing.

Even though Hearn doesn't decide the PPV price, I'll still blame him and Jonsey for it if it rises.

It wasn't. The WWE got annoyed with Wrestlemania being Sky Sports so after Wrestlemania XX it was on normal PPV. Then the WWE got annoyed with Sky for charging just £15 so the price went up. The WWE have a lot of stroke with Sky as wrestling still is one of their top rated "sports".

As for the boxing PPV never really has captured the public's imagination bar Hatton/Mayweather and errrm Haye/Harrison.

What difference does it make when the fans become aware of the pricing? If they'll pay it, they'll pay it and if they won't, they won't. Not releasing the price is completely irrelevant and has no bearing on anything.

The problem is that the PPV price for boxing has been £15 for so long that many will feel annoyed if it isn't clearly stated that it's £18 in the build up (if it is £18).

Sky dont want another Haye/Wlad debacle on their hands with disgruntled customers at any cost.

What a load of ****. It was nothing to do with them being annoyed at sky. They upped the price everywhere purely because they realised that wrestlemania is the main event of the year, and if people pay £3 or $10 more they would make a massive amount extra. I think I read they are doing the main events like wrestlemania, summerslam royal rumble etc at a higher rate as they have more buys than the bog standard ppv and also a higher production cost with the bigger stage etc.

Cant even be bothered to read all the bull**** posts..

Facts are that this fight would not have happened if it was not PPV. Also.. USA PPV costs more than twice as much as it does here. No ****er moans there (they just don't buy it).. . & I suspect half of you ****ers complaining paid up for Khan v Prescott. Seriously... its a one off 15 quid... Not a 5 year subscription for take a break...

The Brit Forum has gone downhill ****ing rapidly. TV threads outnumber the decent analytical ones by about 10 to 1 these days. There's a rake of drama queens on here now with stacks of posts who are more concerned with the politics of boxing than the art of it. It's a shame.

Thank **** for Skillspaybills, who is the only regular thread starter you can guarantee will provide something worth reading.

I don't mind discussing TV/promoters but the majority of the threads on those two subjects are ridiculously petty. People whine about what's on Ringside, what's on Bunce's boxing hour, who said this and who said that. It's ridiculous. I look at the majority of these threads and think "Who gives a ****?". These thing are completely irrelevant to me as a boxing fan and I can't understand why people even care about the majority of these petty things. I want to see good fights, good show and good fighters yet people care about when a presenter says this or a promoter wears the wrong colour tie. It's pathetic.

In every one of the threads I'm on about, it's because someone is trying to find fault where there isn't any. This thread is criticising Hearn because he's not released the PPV price? Seriously? Who gives a ****? Why does any boxing fan give a ****?
