The end of Bowe/Holyfield Round 10 when they fought it out after the bell, then both just kinda patted eachother on the belly like "nice work"

Not a high moment but made ur gut twist was when Morales got knocked down for the last time in the 3rd fight vs Pac, and he looks over at his father, knowing he was finished and nods his head thats its over.

    Screw that sentimental crap.

I love boxing because of fights like Donaire v Rigo. Intelligence and skill still rules despite the sport being dumbed down to KOs thanks to promoters like King and Arum. I thought Donaire would be too young, too fast ... I had lost faith in the sweet science. Fights like that make me appreciate boxers more. It's not just a sport of strikers which is what we mostly get nowadays.

After that I fight I said, "that's what I call boxing."

al haymon is the brains behind mayweather. so long as he maintains that relationship...everything should be ok.

moreso than the bob father...he's got great match makers. those guys are the unsung heroes of the sport.

so far...i've seen a few of mayweather's guys get matched poorly. another example of that is going to happen with jleon love/rosado.

Jleon got matched with rosado because they don't know who GGG is. They just saw that rosado got stopped by some weird guy named golovkin so he must suck.

    jleon is gonna get stopped

my 'now that's why i love boxing moment' was back when duran fought leonard the first time. everyone and their momma was on leonards jock. i knew about duran...but i really didn't know if he could beat leonard. his total disdain and lack of respect for the house fighter was something that has always stuck with me. at the end of the fight...when leonard went to raise his hands and duran went and smacked his hands down and cursed him...at that moment, i was hooked for life. the tripped out part...i was a leonard fan going in and became a duran fan afterwards.

Martinez able to fend off Chavez in the 12th and hearing the judges give good scores. Nice to see him capture the belt that was his.
