Abs are mostly genetic. Sure you can eat right, exercise, and boil down to get them but keeping them isn't easy. I have abs and I don't follow a strict diet or exercise every day. I'm about to hit 30 and my metabolism still hasn't slowed down. I'm just fortunate. FMJ is fortunate in that regard as well.

But abs don't mean ****. Look at Morales, the guy was never cut, even at 122 pounds but he still had excellent stamina. Guerrero should be more worried about being half as skilled as Floyd than looking like a male bodybuilder.

I disagree with everything you said. Lets start hear though, the fat around your midsection does say a lot and he has plenty fat their and on his love handles. He could of came in better shape. We all have abs the only thing that's genetics is form.

Generally, picking fights does come down to how visible a fighters abs are. The trouble arises when both fighters are cut to shreds, but, then the fight could be labelled as a true 50/50. We've had fighters in the past grease themselves up before weigh ins, which, to he untrained eye could lead to a potentially dangerous prediction. It's like legal PEDs for abs.

Yes I know everyone has abs and can make them visible (did you miss the part where I said diet and exercise?) but to have naturally low fat % IS genetics. Unless you don't believe in the three different body types and anyone can look like Arnold S. through simple hard work.

Guerrero looks in good condition to me - the best I've seen him at 147. He isn't naturally as lean as a guy like Mayweather, but I don't see any fat on him.

Guerrero never looks shreaded, the same type of thread comes up before each of his fights. I think a lot is largely due to body shape and genetics and some people are reading too much into it

Your wrong there man,Robert used to look shredded when he fought at lightweight and super feather.Obviously his secret to jumping two weight divisions is piling on the pounds in between fights and not working off the weight accordingly hence the flabby looking physique.Hes planning on leaning that weight on Floyd as much as he can but its going to be a disaster for him in terms of fitness if the fight goes 12.
