Only if he'll train under Nacho Beristain.

    What does ESB think?

******* alias appears before a Floyd fight.

That's the name of my band. Has nothing to do with your post.

If Nonito focuses on WINNING rather than ENTERTAINING THE FANS, then he has a chance.

He can't unless Rigondeaux's levels seriously drop. He won't suddenly develop the boxing skills needed to beat Rigondeaux and as shown in this fight, his chances of landing big are remote.

Donaire would likely get stopped second time around

I actually just rewatched the fight today (on demand) and I firmly believe that there is nothing Nonito could do to change that result. Of course he could make tactical or strategic changes but none of that will be enough to offset Rigo's supremely disciplined, reflexive style. Guillermo will still fight like everything is in slow motion and Donaire will still find nothing but air 95% of the time.
In fact, the only change I see is that Guillermo will actually listen to Pedro when he says "arriba los manos" on the break or after landing the right hook.

Beristain has ways to deal with lefty boxers. That's my point.

Sure, and Gatti can beat Mayweather in a rematch as well.

What's why I said, under Beristain. Let's take a look at Marquez for example. How many lefty boxers did Marquez beat?

    Of course he can.
He clearly lost last time out, but dropped him and had a couple of close rounds.
Though I expect he will lose an UD again to the little guy.

Donaire himself said he is not looking for a rematch at this time, basically that means he knows he does not have the ability to beat Rigo right now, maybe a few years down the road when Rigo gets older and he can bribe him into moving up in weight.

Rigo is a class above Donaire.

  15. The fight remind me of Lewis-Holyfield. Holyfield was the favorite and everyone thought he got more heart than Lewis... Lewis beat up Holyfield for 12 rounds and got robbed.. Rigo didn't get robbed. good for him. I like midgets. they are good for morale.... Donarie lost the plot. I wonder if having a baby effected him? I know what effected Evander.. lennox's right hand.............. Evander said bowe and tyson picked him over lennox because lennox was too strong and powerful.... I like evander though. he's a true warrior and not a quitter like Vitali. Vitali said that he was not ready for lewis in 2000.... he said he will be ready in 2003......it turn out he was not ready for lewis in 2003 either.. I don't think he will ever be ready for Lewis..... I wonder what corpse Vitali will fight next? Will he dig up sugar ray robinson and beat on robinson's decay body? One thing is for sure.. it won't be shown on HBO................
