Boxing's longest streaks of consecutive fights without a single knockout (ko/tko/rtd) defeat: 1. Jack Britton - 342 2. Young Stribling - 269 3. Harry Greb - 251 Who's next on this list? This content is protected
No, not him either. 136 fights before being stopped by Maxim is pretty good - but not enough for 4th place.
Len Wickwar? he suffered many defeats over a more than 450 career record, so perhaps he strung together 200 without a loss... not sure though. Booby Dobbs perhaps, someone like these guys with cracy numbers of fights.
Wickwar of course had an insane number of fights, but he was ko'd no less than 37 times - so he was stopped pretty regularly (though at one point he did have 82 bouts in a row, without being stopped). Dobbs also was stopped quite often, so he's not a candidate either.
Not a bad guess, as Harry was never stopped in a 219-fight pro career. However, a streak of 219 is not enough for 4th place on this list.
The glass jawed fraud got stopped in his 190th fight so he doesn't qualify. (Glass jawed fraud is just a joke, pull away that gun please)
As dyna has alread explained, the bum's glass jaw was soon exposed (against Saddler)... so he's not our man!
