PDL is landing more and more and Mares is trying to fight in spurts which doesn't suit him and his style. If I'm a Mares back I have to feel worried about how the fight is progressing.

I'd say that's a healthy thing to be cautious of.:yep Great fight....Mares doing very well but Ponce is slowly knocking out a few corners that seems to have more effect than all the consistent work from Mares.

Maybe loop the right and come down the middle with the left, instead of just loading up with the left, without setting it up.

PDL is soooooooooo wide open with those winging lefts. And did Mares even train to focus on taking away that left shot because PDL sure ain't trying to hard to find a place for it.

 

If Mares can keep up his work rate and stifle PDL's activity....or at least curb it, he can stay busy enough to pull out the UD. But the pressure is getting to him I think.

 

My Prediction for the main event, Floyd TKO 5, Robert will not see the right hands over the top coming he will not see the right uppercuts coming from underneath, and Floyd is going to use that as sort of lettuce and carrots and olives, But will make sure he ends it with his Salad dressing the left hook.

Guerrero is getting knocked out and pretty bad tonight.
