Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Of course he will, like he did Julio Diaz. Sorry to break it to you, trolling ******, but Khan still fights like he always did and remains predictable and open for the hook. He could hire the entire training crew and it won't change a thing.

 

I strongly disagree. I have nowhere near the venom for Khan that the thread starter has, but it's time people started to realize he isn't really that great of a boxer. He's just a guy with incredibly fast hands and feet, loads of determination, and one of the most abhorrently disgraceful glass jaws I've ever seen.

His defense is still atrocious and he did the exact same things against Diaz (like throwing blind uppercuts from close range when there are no openings) that got him clocked against Garcia.

 

Really? Did cotto beat berto before he fought mayweather last year?

Hear me out :hey

I really think Khan will give mayweather a competitor fight than what most people think. Few things I would like to address here

1.Khan is probably the fastest Mayweather has ever faced
2.The way to beat Khan is really to pressure him, Mayweather is not really known for that instead he is a technical type of boxer
3. You got to Knock Khan out to win- It is very difficult winning a decision against Khan( Peterson got a very close decision, and that was even after taking 2 points off from Khan for pushing Etc)
4. Mayweather is good puncher, but does he have 1 Punch Knockout Power? I don't think so..

So that is why I really think it could be a competitive fight, What I can guarantee is that it will definitely be more competitive than Guerrero Vs Mayweather for sure

My opinion is that yours sucks.

Khan is beyond undeserving.

There are 10 fighters for sure who'd have a better chance of winning.

I do think this fight will happen in the next year.

 

Well Khan would have done a much better job than Guerrero for sure

 

Mayweather by 4th round knockout. I think it might take an extra round to time khan because its the fastest opponent he faced. Still wins those rounds though, then he throws one of he check hooks when khan tries to rush in and gets knocked out ala hatton but does the chicken

 

I think itll happen. He has a 6 fight deal so he is going to have to fightg somebody of this level. Khan will need a bit Welter win to seal it though.
