Well i never hated on Floyd. He is the best and even if he did struggle or lose i'd still think he is the best. I just thought he would try to come forward as he did with other southpaws. I thought Guerrero would fight more off the backfoot and make Floyd lead. But Guerrero kept coming forward, trying the same thing over and over. I dont think he was fully prepared for Floyds movement. Even if he was, Floyd completely took the jab away with his lead right and had Guerrero so tentative and afraid of it. Guerrero got back to the jab later in the fight and did have success with it at times, nice lefts to the body but he just sunk into fighting Floyds fight.

It was dumb of me to think Mayweather would fight one way but he was also his reflexes were sharper and faster than what i expected. Guerrero wasnt that slow early to mid either, Floyds defense was just incredible. Really bad prediction on my part. Oh well im happy to see Mayweather continue his undefeated reign. Canelo must address his stamina issues if he wants to beat Floyd. But i still wanna see it esp after seeing the style Canelo used vs Trout.

 

I think Canelo would get tagged, ALOT. The question would be, if he could track down Mayweather to get him with clean shots. The way Mayweather moved tonight, and the stamina he showed, Alverez would have to turn into a great pressure fighter overnight.
