Watch, we hear in the news tomorrow about how Rahman is a huge fan of ESB after retiring, crazy thing is I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. Brain damage is the only realistic explanation.

Even if it is a troll thread...Duran would not beat him....Hagler was to big SRL...would catch up to him and stop him....physically Hearns is a horrible match up for him..he would get killed and even if he went the distance he would lose a UD...he run all night and not throw enough punches, his punch output is pretty low for a WW...

Don't confuse me for one of the haters. I very well believe Floyd retires undefeated simply cause no one can deal with getting around his defense. I do not blame Floyd for fighting in a time where standouts are few and far apart. Wat i see is that in the past there were a lot of guys who were standouts and had he fought them, winning would have been life and death in some cases

Lol. U think Duran would lose. I bet ur basing it on srl. Leonard was slick but he was tough as nails. You didnt win fights in those days just by being slick. Sooner or later, you would get tagged flush and thats when everyone knew wat u were really made of. Floyd would not being outpointing Duran easy. Duran would make him fight in uncomfortable spots and he would most certainly get caught. Duran was not slow or stupid. He most certainly wasnt Guerrero

Why are people of the past these invincible fighters that today's fighters can't match? Floyd would beat Hearns much more convincingly than SRL ever did. Hearns was fighting bums up until he fought SRL and from there basically lost all of his big fights and beat up a blown up Lightweight. SRL was getting outboxed for a couple rounds by Floyd Mayweather Sr, whom Floyd jr is 10X better than.

Mayweather is probably the greatest of all time.

I think it is naive to say Mayweather wouldnt hold his own.

The fact is that Guerrero would give Duran a tough competitive fight especially on the inside. Guerrero has a solid chin and great punching power.

Beating Guerrero prompts people to make threads about Floyd beating Duran?
