Well, I see where he's coming from.

The point he is making is about era. Being from a Rustbelt family, growing up watching the fights on a shag carpet in someones den or basement, he grew up watching Holmes.
He was probably devastated when Tyson took him out. I cried.

He's also predicting his first defeat. Likely a robbery in his eyes as was Holmes.
