    Mayweather: Larry Holmes is my idol, the guy wasn't afraid for his health. If I'd had that kind of power I would have put a whooping on Pac already.

    Well, I see where he's coming from.

    The point he is making is about era. Being from a Rustbelt family, growing up watching the fights on a shag carpet in someones den or basement, he grew up watching Holmes.
    He was probably devastated when Tyson took him out. I cried.

    He's also predicting his first defeat. Likely a robbery in his eyes as was Holmes.

    He's also relates to the criticism Holmes received. And how he wasnt considered a consensus ATG until well after he'd retired. :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

    Interesting . Holmes don't think as highly of Floyd though. Holmes have said before that Floyd is scared of manny and manny is the greatest of all time
