And let's what Rigo does when..say...he's trapped in the corner by a great pressure fighter, 400+ amateur fights is all well and good, no doubt the man is one of the greatest amateur fighters of all time, but there are different dimensions to 12 round pro fights, we've seen Floyd prove himself time and time again over the years, there are still questions to be answered from Rigo
We saw what happened when he was trapped in the corner and being walked down, he used his legs, tied up and spun around, or some other technique to position himself out of danger and either go on the offense while the opponent is off balance or take them back to the center of the ring.
And can he do that at a consistently elite level like Mayweather has for years? not top amateur level, top pro level, again, let's see where he is in 2 years time, maybe he will be amazing, but maybe not, I reckon there's a good chance Rigo will look like dog **** in some of his upcoming fights I know that sounds strange considering he's coming off a domination of Rigo ****ing Donaire, but there are still styles out there that would be a nightmare for Rigo I believe, he's still adapting to the pro game
Mayweather has never been knocked down in his career. Rigo is a good fighter but the only real fighter he faced was Nonito Donaire and Donaire isn't really much to talk about.
He has been doing it consistantly at a elite level that is the point. Nothing is going to change the fact that the skills Rigo has regardless of if he is a pro or amateur as he demonstrated in the Donaire fight. Time in the pros doesn't and will not change that. There are styles out there that are a nightmare for everyone, doesn't change the fact that Rigo is one of the few fighters in the world who can say they are just as skilled as Floyd if not more so.
