there is no one besides Pacquiao at 147 who is a threat to Mayweather.
the only real challenges lay above 147.

isn't it about time that Mayweather finally dares to be great and does something out of the ordinary?

Would any man claiming to be the greatest actor that ever walked the earth be content with playing the same role in every movie, aren't the greats in any field in search of the ultimate affirmation of their greatness?

Mayweathers legacy will always be scrutinized because of the challenges that were available, that he did not take, is he really going to go out like that? he could have been and still has the chance to be so much more.

Most people already consider Mayweather as a legend. How was Ray Leonerd legacy after he refused to fight Aaron Pryor?

You mean after Ray fought, Benitez, Duran, Hearns? I don't think that quite compares to how jr blatantly.... dodged Pacquiao. Jr. will probably be in the HoF, but I won't consider him an ATG.

well then it will be just you that doesnt consider him an ATG. and if you still believe that it was mayweather and not arum that blatantly kept that fight from happening you need to open your eyes

This is what u dick heads don't seem to understand, mayweather is no longer proving himself when he steps in that ring, he proved himself years ago and has been fighting world class fighters all his life. He was a future hall of famer before he even left 130. Everything he had done since was a bonus. Winning titles means nothing to floyd now he practically wins them everytime he fights and throws them away. He fights champion after champion.

Now at age 36 u still think floyd needs to prove himself? It's people like u that is the reason floyd is the way he is. I guess floyd didn't need to fight 44 fights and just jump to 154 to fight Alvarez who only a year ago was seen as a cherry pick.

There is no challenge in his era. He is just that much better than his era.

Only when comparing him to the truly greats like Ali and Leonard he will be more of a middle of the pack atg as opposed to the upper class !

Yup, at 36 you can't expect him to be going up in weight looking for challenges. Dudes already an ATG but the Pac duck will keep him in the middle of the pack and not the top.

There are challenges, but he refused to fight them until they were outside of their prime or he just refused to fight them period.

    This,

the guy started at 130 and has a small frame. His move up is comparable to many of the ATG of the past.
