Mayweather is a GREAT fighter. So you need another GREAT fighter to beat him. Canelo IMO, is not a GREAT fighter at this point of his career. Just like Marquez said, he is too inexperienced. That's key. Canelo also has some stamina issues he needs to improve on, facing May guy who will run all night if he has to. The biggest advantage for Canelo, is the fact that he's the bigger man. He has his own set of skills and is a good fighter for his age. But you're a dealing with one of the best defensive fighters of all time. If Canelo were to be in his prime 25-28 years of age, after fighting MORE quality opponents, then it would become a more dangerous fight. Canelo showed some of his inexperience in the Trout fight. Now, if May would have looked like he lost a step, then maybe his lack of experience could be less of an issue but May showed me that he really hasn't lost a step. Maybe half a step ha. Fact is, May is still fighting as if he was 30, not 36. Canelo could be his toughest fight at this point but can he beat him? Doubt it. Mayweather can relax and chill. I don't see any GREAT fighters at this point. Mayweather can sleep comfortably. No real threats.

For a prideful Mexican like JMM to always give up props to Floyd and not even think of getting in the ring again with him.....man that means Floyd is on another planet.

No, it just means that styles make fights. Same thing happened with Barrera vs. Jr. Jones. There will always be a style that is poison to another fighter. ****, last I remember, Floyd robbed Castillo and drew with an old ass De la Hoya.

I don't think Canelo is ready yet. Maybe in 1-2 more years where floyd gets a little bit old and slows down. Thats not saying that Canelo doesn't have a puncher's chance though.

PBF is a bad style match up for JMM he tried it and realizes it. No shame in that.
