If you want to walk away right now claiming an e-victory feel free. Probably a lot easier than countering what I said.

How ******ed do people sound when people say Floyd would duck Hagler?

Well, Robinson lost to Maxim so no way he would've fought Holyfield.

Pacquiao hasn't even proved to be THAT much of a threat to Marquez; in both of their fights at 147. Bradley; Fight was supposedly a robbery, but I saw a Pacquiao who was fighting the last 30 secs of every round. SO how can he be a threat to Mayweather?

Pacquiao is a threat to guys like Rios, Alvarado, Maidana, Lopez, Matthysse, Garcia..guys with that style. The flat footed style.

I just don't see how any sensible boxing fan can see Pacquiao as much of a threat to Floyd when he has lost his last 2 fights to Marquez, and didn't look all that good as it's being made out to be against Bradley.

there has NEVER been anyone of MMH caliber since he retired. SRL started at 140 and quickly moved up to 147. PBF started at 130 PBF is a much smaller man who does not have the style (like a duran who is a pressure fighter that easily translates to a higher weightclass).

People tend to forget that Floyd was calling out Oscar since Floyd was at 130 and Oscar was at 147 (3 weightclasses above) . MMH was calling SRL out when MMH was 160 and SRL was 147 (2 weightclasses below). they were both looking at the $. Both Oscar and SRL took these challenges when they thought they could win.

Nobody takes SRL's 168/175 belt seriously, it's a joke. You'd hope Floyd's 154 campaign is more legit, with him being a 2x champ with 2 #1 scalps there.

I just rewatched Floyd JMM yesterday. It's hard to believe these two guys belong in the same weight class. Yeah I know JMM doesn't belong at welter, but he's willing to take those risks at an advanced age

Ali never proved that much of a threat to Norton. And Barrera was just no threat to Jones, who was little threat to Morales, so what was the point in MAB Morales?

Pacquiao would just get outboxed silly by Floyd.

Styles make fights? Mayweather is a bigger, better, stronger, faster more elusive version than Marquez. Now fit that in to your theory.

people are so silly . . . why didnt MMH move up to fight Spinks? because their was more money coming up to face him at MH and more money at MW than LHW period! people do not say that MMH ducked Spinks. Back then you had to fight the best to get and keep a belt to make as much money as possible. fighters moved up in weight to make more money. if they could not make more money moving north the stayed put.

Floyd has only fought fighters with big wins in their last fight since Zab. I cannot remember the last time he has not fought a top ten fighter in their division or P4P fighter and outclassed every fighter

common he fought JMM because he was coming off of long break and wanted to beat the man that many people think beat manny already. its not like he beat JMM by pushing him around the ring he did it by outboxing a master boxer.
