Ponce took 2-3 big shots but still clearly had all his senses

It was. It was rigged for vegas to win $. The Over/Under rounds was 9 1/2 and the ref stopped him just in time to make it under. Whoever bet over lost. All part of the mafia.

He took too many big rights for me.

Better than letting Vargas take too many hooks like he did from Trinidad

PDL was having some great success before Mares landed that hail mary. GBP wanted to make sure their rising star was coming out with the win.

I don't think so. If Ponce had any common sense he would've took a knee or tried to hold. He was swinging for the fences but nothing was landing and was getting tagged with hard shots repeatedly and only gonna get hurt, what was the ref meant to do?

It was premature BUT Mares would have stopped him with one more flurry.

A bit, he was still throwing. But it was a judgment call, he did take plenty of flush shots after being floored a second time (or a 15th, depending on your definition of the word.)

    Yes

Ponce should have atleast slumped into the ropes or dropped his guard or hit canvas...
