Only mega fight I see jr. fought in reality is vs Zab. Floyd wasn't ready for Oscar or Shane when he was at 130, so he waited. Floyd picks his fighters well. Big names, right time, just played the waiting game, and he's doing it again to Pacquiao.

 

Sure, 18 months before the Cotto fight Pac was at 130. Just 12 months earlier he would have been a huge underdog to Cotto. He'd hardly taken any punches in the mean time, it was legit to think top welters like Cotto would be too much. Still a great win, even if partial credit. It's better than Berto at 146 (see Ortiz), or Michael Jennings/Zaveck/Miki Rodriguez/Baldomir/Aydin at full 147, that's for sure.

Bottom line is Mayweather is a great fighter and an ATG but he ducked Pacquiao ( you are a ***** if you don't see this). Mayweather would beat Manny at this point. Both are on decline but it's still the fight a lot of people want to see.
