I remember the night Amir fought Paulie Malignaggi,he was lightening quick with the jab and was very accurate.Paulie has a pretty good jab and is very quick himself but Amir made him look like a snail in there. He needs to get back to what ever he was doing back then because it was working for him.
A prime Judah was just as fast as Khan with more power and a better chin. Floyd still was able to walk him down and pick him apart. Speed isnt what troubles a boxer like Floyd. Timing and punch variation along with a good jab troubles Floyd ala Cotto and Oscar
speed and power against lesser opponents made him look very good. Lack of chin and defense means he'll never be elite
listen to what you just said"Paulie"..really Paulie? who in the hell has Paulie ever beaten worth mentioning? guy has no right hand and his movement is very predictable,he is a straight up and down fighter with no power
What a load of crap,in the first few rounds Zab might have had the drop on him and looked quicker but as soon as Floyd found his range Zab became cannon fodder just like everyone else.Floyds hands were evidently quicker than Judah's in the second half of the fight.I honestly think even at 36 Floyd still has the quickest hands in boxing, that right hand is like something out of the Matrix and even though opponents know it's coming they still cant get out of the way.Thats how quick Floyd is,he would outspeed Khan and beat him at his own game imo.
Intelligence as well. He was gettig hit with the same shot vs consistently vs Garcia, neer adjusted until he got kod
Judah had more meaningful speed,he actually set up meaningful punches with speed and power...Khan just throws dumbass flurries which are all arm punches..but him and Judah have 1 thing in common soon as they get rocked then moonwalk across the ring with grace
Exactly. He just throws to throw. We he sits down on his punches he's devastating. If I was his trainer id limit him to 40 punches per round. Id tell him if he throws any more than that im pulling him from the fight quicker than Mcgirt
just like every floyds opponent..judah hands were faster then floyds..floyd simply had better timing and the counters made judah keep his hands at home and hesitate therefore slowing down his hand speed..floyd is great at making is opponents think to much and doubt themselves..thats one of the intangibles that makes him great..he will even tell you,you can be faster, stronger but you will never be smarter then him
The man should be fighting like a Emanuel Steward fighter, using his length, speed and setting up punches with his jab.he needs to settle down use more head movement and make his punches count
Did I say anything about power? I said he's quick and has a lightening fast jab and Amir beat him to the punch. His hand speed was on full display that night and his accuracy was on point.Dont be a ****ing troll and say well it was Paulie,he's still a very decent fighter and the fact that he's been boxing at world level for so long speaks volumes for somebody who apparently fights with one hand and can't punch.
i used boxing knowledge to post my opinion..can you do the same?id gladly read it..miss me with all that ***** crap,im a grown man, talk boxing
