He was in his prime against Sanders and Brewster. He changed his style because of these defeats.

2 losses in his prime. He's then adjusted and become a better fighter, but the only loss he was green for was Purrity.

Not too shabby for a guy who's been fighting world class heavyweights since Bill Clinton was in office.

Exactly. His prime started after Steward had worked with him long enough to truly alter his style.

Than by your standards no fighter lost in prime, cause obviously you will not say "looked the best" when he lost:huh

    This.
He was in his prime, he had just not optimized his game yet.

  8. Lewis was shot. Those rankings are correct though.. even shot lewis was ahead of Wlad in 2002.

"wipes the floor". Look up what a Pyrrhic victory is, and that's what the first Wlad fight was for Lamon. I credit him for the win. That doesn't mean he's beating any version of Wlad post-Steward.

Wlad lost during his physical prime.
He has not lost during his mental prime. He will not lose in his mental prime even with less physical gifts.

Wlad is a tale of 2 primes.

You've completely missed the point little lad. If Waldo was able to be considered the number 2 during Lewis's prime for several years then clearly everybody from Lewis's era must have been **** as well.

In my opinion, Wlad's absolute prime officially began with the first Peter fight, by which point him and Emanuel were clicking as a team. I know Wlad had some issues in that fight, but he overcame adversity, and that this coincided with his skills being fine-tuned under the guidance of Steward make this the 'official' starting point as I see it.
