The same people want to say that Robert doesn't belong in the same ring with Floyd are the same ones who said that Floyd should fight Clottey and Margarito.

Robert is multi-weight champion while Clottey was a brief WBO champion and Margarito was a fraud champion.

    Explain that.

He might be better p4p or whatever, but what kind of chance would you give him vs those guys? Very slim, he'd do well to last the distance even vs Clottey, no chance vs Marg.

Margarito was the clear number 1 after destroying cotto. Clearly that would have been a better fight.

Clottey is more debatable. He made Judah quit and had a very close fight with cotto. He was always regarded a talent but never ranked above 3rd I dont think.

I could equate rob with clottey but obviously Margo would have been one of Floyd's best ever victories.

calm down he only won belts at feather and super feather. That hardly means your a killer welterweight.

At Welterweight. I would but my life on Clottey and Margarito both beating guerrero.

You're right. After Floyd dominates someone, it's " he was never good to begin with" or "he was a bum".

    Floyd is just that good.

 Guerrero a more formidable opponent than Marg? Even Clottey -- who fought an even fight against Cotto -- is more solid at WW than a Guerrero who struggled against Aydin and only beat an overrated Berto. Failed thread.

Clottey and Margarito would've both beaten up Guerrero. They're straight-up better welterweights than Guerrero. To deny that is madness.

why do people think theres a vendetta against him. He only picks fights where he's supposed to dominate.

Fight someone where its a 50/50 and dominate and then more people will give him credit.

If you don't believe me, find me one of his fights in the last 10 years where the odds were close, but he now doesnt get creit

Clottey and Margarito were much more of a threat at Welter than Guerrero.

Margo's victory over Cotto is legit??? Without that win he got kermit the mental melt down kid. Who did Margo beat to say that Robert wouldn't whip his ass like he did Berto?

$$$$ Ortiz is 1000x's more marketable than Alexander (or any other WW that is a possible opponent) & they could sell a rematch as a do-over because of how the first fight ended.

*Obviously Top Rank fighters do not apply.
