wow, he lost to norton 11 years after he turned pro. after he was in forced retirement/exile for 3 1/2 years.
he destroyed 2 of the most feared champs ever in foreman and sonny liston when he was a huge under dog.
he would have beat the **** out of lewis, louis, tyson. nice try hater

No. Not as a heavyweight anyway.

Never mind anything outside of the ring or his fame - nobody in heavyweight history has a resume to match Muhammad Ali.

Joe Louis, Larry Holmes, Lennox Lewis, Jack Johnson all have long periods of dominance to their name, Marciano has the undefeated record, Foreman's two careers proved his greatness, but none of them have the depth and quality of wins that Ali does in my opinion.

If somebody is putting him as P4P the greatest ever then yes I'd say that's overrated because there are a few guys from the lighter weights that were obviously better but you can't convince me that he isn't the greatest heavyweight of all time, especially when you consider he was past his prime in the 70's and still managed to win against Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Shavers, Young, Quarry etc

Yes I know this, shows what an idiot he was then to fight Holmes then doesn't it, his performance was shocking and inept.

Alot of fighters have carried on with injuries and not quit, alot of fighters have taken beatings and not quit, it's called the fight game, it's not a tickling comp has Hatton said.

    Liston .....1..to win the title.
    Foreman...To regain his title.

Can't think of a third, all his fights were the same and most boring.

    Spinks beating Ali.
Holmes....Standing Ali up the whole fight and hammering him into oblivion.
    Berbick...Beating Ali.
Bugner outboxing Ali for 15 rounds.
Frazier knocking Ali down and busting his face up and retaining his World Title.

Mike Tyson 85-89 would have killed Ali, Tyson was the best heavyweight of alltime during this period.

    ETC ETC ETC
