Robert Guerrero a bum? then what is Clottey and Margarito?

I am a fan of Floyd as well as Pac believe it or not but i'm telling it like it is here.

 

If that's hard to believe, check this out: GBP just paid Mares 325k, right after offering Donaire 3m to fight the same guy

 

Clottey was a bum..

Margarito was very good...

 

clottey and margarito could come out of retirement today and still beat guerrero.

 

i think floyd would've beaten clottey easily. margarito might ve stopped floyd.

Clottey was good but didn't prove anything other than his win over Judah in 2008 and controversial loss to Cotto, then right after that a wide loss to Pacquiao.

Margarito destroyed his own momentum. First he gained hype with the Cintron TKO, then he went and lost to Paul Williams, then he beat Cotto, then he was destroyed by Mosley. This up-down, up-down thing Margarito had going didn't make a good case for him to be Floyd's opponent. The only reason Arum pushed the Margarito fight on Floyd was because Floyd had bought out his contract from Top Rank after the Judah fight because Floyd wanted DLH and Arum didn't want to do business with DLH. The Margarito push on Mayweather was just a spiteful smear campaign by Bob Arum.

The fights like Mayweather vs Cotto, Mayweather vs Margarito, were never discussed with Mayweather while Mayweather was actually a Top Rank fighter. In fact the only instance I have ever heard of Floyd vs any of the two fighters while he was in Top Rank was that Arum didn't want to make the fight because Cotto was not ready.

 

If you didn't notice Shane Mosley had been on the slide for years. Losing to Vernon Forrest twice, Winky Wright twice, Miguel Cotto, and looking horrible against Mayorga. Somehow a victory over a weight drained Margarito that had just got caught supposedly cheating made him P4P at the time.

ODH had looked less then impressive with his win against Sturm, and had been knocked out by Hopkins. He came back down and beat Mayorga. Apparently Mayorga must also make you a P4P great in Mayweathers defense.

Hatton basically got a gift against Collazo and looked horrible at WW. Instead of fighting Hatton at LWW, Mayweather fought him at WW.

Miguel Cotto had already been beaten by Mayorga and Pacquiao. The supposed draining of Cotto is a good excuse for the Pac haters. Cotto fought 2 pounds under what would probably be considered his best weight and was still the bigger man in the ring against Pac. Cotto did nothing impressive at 154lb and even had to fight Margarito at a catch weight instead of fighting him at full blown 154lbs. Now, Mayweather tried desperately in 24/7 to make it seem Cotto was really undefeated even though the fight took place at a weight class Cotto has not looked good in then or since.

 

I'm a pac hater bc i tell it like it is? You are the Fan boy, you obviously only follow like 2 boxers and the only reason why you would know any other is bc it was pac's opponents.

Everything i have said, i listed examples and facts. Are you have is opinions.

 

Whats that have to do with Shane having fought nobody? Shane in his prime did beat prime oscar twice, leija. Also he got two victories over vargas and your hero Margarito.

Which BTW Floyd fought Margarito first and Pac second. If he was on such a slide and he destroy a hyped Margarito which is the whole point of this thread anyways. Whats that say about Margarito?

 

To add to this. Floyd wanted Oscar for years but Bob said no. When Oscar left TR and was looking for an opponent, Arum wouldn't let Floyd fight him and push for Margarito? Of course Floyd would bought out his contract for a chance to make 50 million with Oscar.

 

Floyd never fought Margarito. And Margarito is my hero? And I need to learn what I'm talking about?

Clottey and margo would have whooped guerrero. if they were still around theyd be at the top of the division and little floyd would still be ducking them.

 

So the question is if Guerrero is better than Clottey and/or Margarito?

Don't over-complicate things. Simply watch them fight. If we're being honest, Clottey and Margarito are way more dangerous, huge legitimate Welters, and have a better track record in the grand scheme. Simply watch them fight...it's pretty easy.
