The secret of catching floyd is to watch his feet .. Especially when throwing the right hand Each time Floyd throw his right hand he lefts his right heel, he does this every time.

A fighter may not be able to stop it but he could possible minimize its effect on the fight. His lead right hand also leave him off balance only for a moment. so how would a fighter exploit this ?

The problem is that he only likes to throw that right hand if he thinks you're not ready for it. If you start keying in on it, He'll throw it at different angles, or throw the left hook instead.

I watched the fight again today. Guerrero did a lot better then thought, was still a clean sweep but he had his moments where he was able to counter Floyd. It makes me wonder how well a guy with better defense and faster hand speed will do.

he can throw it at any angle and it's lightning fast..

call it predictable if you want, but can you react in time??

True but it will be a weapon that can be taken away or intercepted. Also still does not take away the fact that he has to **** his heel to throw it, in order to avoid a possible counter .

The lifting of the right heel is for the pull counter which sets up the right hand lead after he pulls back to dodge a shot from the opponent. Floyd doesn't have to use the pull counter to hit you with the right hand, he can use the shoulder roll and other counter punching techniques.

using a jab and getting him to back up and throwing punches. He is fighting guys slower than him, so he can have the punches there all night.

Not true against a south paw or fighter with a longer reach, the pull counter and shoulder roll would leave him wide open, if the fighter is able to trick floyd into throwing it while keeping his distance.

Floyd's right hand comes as quick as a jab from his lead hand. That lies the problem and he doesn't really fight with a rhythm nor does he telegraph his right hand.
