very smart move, from a promoters standpoint. you introduce pac to a group that could double your market, against a guy that could make pac look spectacular. now its clear why arum said rios and alvarado would be fighting other fighters before a rematch. this fight could capture millions of new fans and keep pac as the most exciting boxer out there.

 

floyd is getting younger right, SSM was dangerous enough for Freddie not to want anything to do with him (oh until a year after he fought PBF) . . . and TR were trying to set up a fight with Cotto at the same time but wanted him to come down to 147 where he Cotto would be so much better rightatsch. kinda like what they did to Oscar fighting him at 147 after PBF fought him at 154:nut
