The only way DeGale could conceivably beat Froch is if he really took the fight to Carl and made him fight on the inside for 12 rounds. If he boxes off the back foot and goes against the ropes he'll get his **** pushed in. He's awfully hittable on the outside and his punch delivery/technique is crap. He'd have his head jabbed off all night, take plenty of shots to the body and eventually be stopped in the late rounds. He'd have to apply pressure and get on Carl's chest. If he can do that, without Froch being able to retreat effectively and outbox him, he could get the W. Doubt it though. All talk of ''outskilling'' Froch is complete nonsense.
outskilling froch is nonsense but outboxing him is very possible for anyone with decent skills , chin and some power - I don't think degale has the power but has the skills and chin oh and its callum smith not paul lol
I can imagine Carl Froch being really up for this fight and training like he never has before and beating all his numbers in training.
