PPV numbers under 1mm but actually over 1mm

Why cant showtime do the same job as HBO when it comes to PPV?

 

Well for one thing it has only about 70% of the subscribers that HBO does.

 

Cos fanboys are pathetic but this time all boxing fans should be concerned. It's been reported that any losses Showtime makes on Floyd's PPVs will come out of their boxing budget. Meaning less money to make fights.

This may turn out to be a blessing disguise. Show time should put their foot down and ask for harder fights especially if they paying floyd 32 mil to fight a guy like Guerrero.

They did better than HBO; they had commercials everywhere and segments on EPSN. Showtime can't sell a ****ing no-hope fight. Even HBO can't do that ****.

Pacquiao, on HBO, did only 700k at his peak when he was pitted against Clottey, and the Cowboys stadium location contributed a lot to pre-fight talk.

As for Showtimes' latest PPV with Pac/Mosley, those numbers were the sketchy ones which Showtime or neutral sources couldn't confirm.
