How would it have went down? Let's set the stage. Roy Jones in his prime and weighing in at just under 200 lbs. Tyson in his prime. What happens? Who wins? Does a prime Jones Jr at the minimum required weight have a chance to win this fight?

To answer your question, Jones of 2003 gets waxed against the Tyson that fought Botha.

Yes, i'm serious. I'm thinking more a Roy Jones in his prime (93-98 ) than 2003.

If he's in his prime (93-98 as you call it) he isn't near 200lbs, so which is it?

Either way, it doesn't matter. You should say you weren't serious at all and you were trolling. Save yourself now.

The only version of Tyson RRJ has a chance of beating was the old pre-retired post 2000versions. But the RJJ who beat Ruiz could have potentially beaten that version of Tyson if he could have survived the first 3-4 rounds. Other than that, it's a complete mismatch.

It is like Hearns and Tyson. Mike is too strong for Jones or Hearns on the inside. Just too big.

More of a nightmare fight for RJJ. Even the 2005 Tyson.

    Don't exaggerate.

In 2005 he quit against Kevin McBride.

    This fight nearly happened.

Jones wanted to get a fight with Tyson after Tyson fought Lewis.

This fight might have made more sense for both of them than the fights that they eventualy took.

It would have only bought forward Jones' mental deterioration. Thankfully it never took place.
