How many of those guys don't have a fight already scheduled and are thinking that they need a fight with Kell Brook? It's not exactly enticing is it. Vargas and Prov would be mad to consider it.
I agree but other than Brook he hasn't exactly fought any one worth mentioning unless you consider Oauli any good.
If Kell went to the states,the money was right and there was a mandatory position on the line I'm sure a fight with Provodnikov or Vargas would be quite possible.I mean why not?Provodnikov just fought for a world title so chances are he won't be fighting for another one in his next fight unless Bradley gives him a rematch.The Vargas fight could be made with the right negotiations.These are the fights Kell needs,they're confidence builders and they give him exposure.Carson Jones is just history repeating itself.
Soto Karass,Alfonso Gomez,Ricardo Williams jr,Tyrone Brunson,Said Oauli are all good fighters,you really are just trolling on Jones arnt you? The guy is a main sparring partner for GGG,Saul Alvarez and Miguel Cotto there's a reason for that.
Diaz is not like Humberto Soto who is blown up at the weight, he drew with Shawn Porter who would destroy Brook, yeah Khan's bad defense made Diaz look good but Brook's bad stamina would make Diaz look good Where was his big punching power when he fought some guy who was a late replacement and got a draw and looked terrible, he might be a big puncher when hes fighting **** people
Better fights than a return with Carson,but Ive not seen anything official that the fight is coming off,so it still may not be happening IMO.If he IS fighting in Hull,Senchenko might not be a bad starter after the Hatton performance.The name on your list that really stands out to me is Provodnikov.To me the standard of opponent he should be taking on now.This would be a great final eliminator for a title and a fantastic matchup.But Ruslan is a beast and we all know Hearn wouldn't take that unless he held a world title and would come to GB,and only then if there were no easier options.I think it was Rob listed 3 fights for Kell this year.Id bet my house against that prediction.

Wow you really are a moron,it's not uncommon for a fighter to have problems with a late replacement when they've been training for someone else.Jones was expecting a fire fight with Purdy but instead he got a guy who was content with running and trying to steal rounds by the skin of his balls. Shawn Porter? Who's he?
How about Maidana as a first fight,if they could get him over?Then Im sure they could get a reasonable opponent,possibly a bit better,for his 2nd and last fight of the year.This IMO would put Brook where he should be,to challenge a decent champion in 2014.
Bleacher report also predicts that Mayweathers next fight will be against kell brook in the uk in november. People over exaggerate so much when they say hes unknown in the usa. I see the special one getting talked about by US reporters all the time and also people who comment on those reports who are mainly from america know about him. He may not have khan status.. But people do know who he is.
You must all be wrong, because I'm in total agreement with Rob. Planets must be aligned, cats and dog getting on, Israel and Palestine signing a mutual protection pact and everyone else must be wrong. Its a decent keep busy fight for Kel, shouldn't risk his position with Alexander and laid a few ghosts to rest.
It's not that Carson Jones is the worst fight ever it's more that we've already seen him against Brook and he's fought in the UK twice in the last few months, it's just lazy match making on Matchroom's part. Instead of finding a new fight for Brook it's just "we'll call up Jones' team they like money and it's easy for us to arrange" and it's not exciting as a fan.
