Last I heard John Murray was tarmacing roads around Christmas time, said it made him appreciate Boxing a bit more as it was ****ing difficult work. Don't think he's got anything lined up other than that

 

Murray tweeted that he's the meeting the Board tomorrow and is hoping to get his license back.

Bhatia's a random one . Haven't heard about him in ages.

So many to mention the perennial shout is Joe Selkirk. Having seen some of his twitter posts seems to me like he is training in Marbella at Macklins gym but also seems more to me like he is just enjoying that lifestyle more than anything.

No idea how he is funding it considering he hasnt had a decent fight in ages.

Nick Quigley did well in PF and had a cracking fight with Ochieng then nothing since.

EDIT speaking of that PF what happened to Robert Lloyd Taylor. Thought he might have got a decent fight out of that. Looks like it killed off his career

In terms of getting into a boxing ring, can't be long before Buckland and Quigg enter this conversation. Obviously, we know where they are but there's no certainty about when we might see em in action again.

 

Jamie Cox is back soon I believe, he was MIA for quite sometime after Obodai Sai's balls broke his hand.

 

Not a big name I know but when I saw Thaxton v Mezaache a few years back there was a young kid called Bradley Evans making his debut on the bill.

Had a mental almost Buglioni level of support with him, was up from Hertfordshire if I remember, Beat Sid Razak

Must have been with Fat Mick as I saw him draw in his 2nd bout on ITV and he looked crestfallen, looking on Boxrec he had 4 more wins after that and nothing since 2010

Like I said not a well known but one that stuck with me because of the very large vocal support the kid brought with him

 

I think that Evans was an ABA champ???

Quigg the interesting one for me. Gallagher said weeks ago they've started camp and if they don't get a date at the end of it then its time to rethink and move on. Like I say that was weeks ago now and still no date in sight
