Look let's be realistic here. Wlad/Vitali/Lewis would dominate any era of HW boxing

Ali is NOT that much smaller than Wlad or Vitali.

He's only 3-4 inches shorter than Wlad and Vitali, respectively.

Yup and no one has suggested otherwise?. They simply get hated on incessantly and without justification (Both Klits)

Also, if you can't see that their size/technique/intangibles would put them above the other champions of the past, you're very sadly mistaken and should watch more boxing.

No way can anyone suggest that a 5'11 Heavyweight in Marciano would even last 5 rounds with Wlad. He'd never be able to escape the jab. He'd be in a coma.

FFS there's close to an 8 inch difference in height and close to a 60 pound difference between the two.

Rofl? That 4 inch difference is obscenely large.

4 inch difference in height equates to many more pounds of mass.

    Try comparing a 5'11 guy to a 6'3 guy.

I'm 5'11 myself and 6'3 guys tower over me. The difference is very significant and very very noticeable.

Neither Wlad nor Vitali have fought EVERYONE in the division, such as Haye (For Vitali), Fury, Pulev, or Povetkin. I'm not saying those guys would or would not have a chance to beat them, I'm just saying they haven't fought the other top fighters. Instead, they're fighting bums like Wach, Pianeta, Mormeck, and Charr.

I guess. I don't care. I may rate Wlad higher than Marciano but not Vitali.

There's always going to be newcomers and there's always going to be guys that "They haven't fought"

That's the nature of the sport.

Let's be honest. Haye ducked Vitali. Not once, but twice.

Haye beat Chisora more impressively than Vitali did. And I pick him to knock out Charr. What does that say about Vitali?

Really enjoy watching Ali box, he is so mobile, bouncing all over the place constantly.
Is there any "modern" heavy weight, that is this agile/mobile ? most of the times they just walk around.

Oh yeah let's factor out the fact that Vitali is a 41 years old man AND ruptured a ligament in his left shoulder and still dominated him

    :patsch

****ing Klit haters just get more ridiculous by the second.

While I haven't read the whole thread, based on the opening post, I must shockingly agree with MVC.

At least Wlad is on the right track by fighting Povetkin next.

    MVC,

    Wlad vs the following:

    Ali
    Foreman
    Frazier
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Tyson
    Vitali (if they weren't brothers)
    Holmes
    Lewis

Obviously everyone fully fit, and fighting to their full capabilities.

What would have happened, in your HONEST opinion?

    Thanks!

Your a ****ing idiot. Put Vitali in Dempsey era and he is not looking like he does now. Steroids, new training methods, and new diets are why hes like that. He eats a perfect diet they didn't know what was healthy back then

If that was Ibeabuchi fighting Wladimir the first time, instead of Sam Peter, Wlad wouldn't be around today.

  15. Exactly. I will give Ike a 70-30 chance against any version of Wlad PRE 2007.
